Amir was established in 1983.
The first restaurant was opened in the centre of Montreal, followed by two more in the west of the city and the Rockland Centre, establishing Amir as one of the first franchise operations in Quebec.
With a starting philosophy based on family values, over 30 years later this philosophy is still very apparent. Many Amir franchises are owned and operated by families with a desire to grow and succeed together as part of the Amir team. This is clearly a key ingredient for success.
Staying true to the original vision of providing authentic Lebanese cuisine, the menu at Amir contains signature Lebanese dishes such as Shish Taouk, Shawarma as Pitas or Plats as well as Garlic Potatoes, Falafel, Fattouche, Hummus and Tabbouleh, but also includes a range of vegetarian options, salads and soups all based on family recipes. It is this commitment to creating consistently healthy, high quality dishes prepared freshly each day, that sets Amir apart from other quick service restaurants. Combined with a desire to evolve, innovate and grow, with the customer's needs at the core of everything Amir does, it's not a surprise that Amir has received many industry accolades over the years.
Operating a centralized kitchen and sourcing the best quality products locally undoubtedly contributes to Amir's ability to offer consistently high quality dishes at a competitive price to its customers.
The Amir franchise continues to go from strength to strength with over 65 franchises in operation, Amir continues to lead the market in providing healthy , fresh Lebanese cuisine to the many diverse communities within Montreal.
